South of Providence
Take 95N to Broadway exit. Go past first set of street lights. Take a left at the second set of lights, Atwells Avenue. *Follow this road for about 1.5 miles. You will go past a warehouse-shopping district with a Shaws and Staples on your right. Continue straight up the hill past Academy Avenue and Mount Pleasant Avenue intersections. You will start to go down a hill and you will see a road merge from the left. Road dog-legs to the right. You are now on Manton Avenue. Ortoleva will be on your right (after Rushmore Avenue). If you go past Mr. Twister you have gone too far. We are the 5th house on the right. Red/white house. 39 Ortoleva Drive, Providence RI 02909. tel: 401-351-8334.
North of Providence
Take 95S to Atwells Avenue exit. Take a right at the top of the exit. *Follow the directions above.
Directions to The Ceremony
From Providence
Take 95S to Exit 9 Route 4 North Kingstown. This is a left exit. Follow Route 4 for about 8 miles, go straight past two stop lights. Route 4 will merge into Route 1. Route 1 will curve to the right. Go about 1/2 mile, take exit for 138E to Jamestown/ Newport. Follow 138 over the Jamestown Bridge. *Take Helm Street exit after the bridge. Go straight through 1st stop sign. Take right at 2nd stop sign, onto unlabeled North Main Road. Follow this into town. Go straight through stop sign (flashing yellow light). Road will eventually curve to the right. Go over sandbar beach. This road will take you right to Beavertail State Park. Enter the park and loop around to Parking Lot 4. Park and follow the foot path towards the end of the parking lot. Path will curve to the left, follow it until you come to a clearing. The ceremony will be here.
From Hamilton Village Inn
From the Inn take a left onto Route 1A (Boston Neck Road). Follow this curvy road till you come to 138E Jamestown/Newport. Take 138E over the Jamestown bridge. Follow directions above *.
From Wickford
Depending where you are in Wickford you can either take Scenic Route 1A (which is also Boston Neck Road at parts), Route 1 or Route 4 as mentioned above. All of these will connect to 138. Take 138E to Jamestown/Newport. Go over the Jamestown bridge. Follow directions above *.
Directions to The Reception
Exit park, returning from where you came. Go over sandbar beach and follow road out of town. Take 138W (second left) and go over the Jamestown Bridge. Take the first exit after the bridge, Route 1A Wickford. Take a left at the stop sign, this is Boston Neck Road. Follow this 2 miles to 420 Boston Neck Road, immediately after the North Kingstown United Methodist Church. It is a white house, look for tent in the yard.
