B&Bs in Wickford (near reception & wedding)

The Haddie Pierce House. Four blocks away from our reception (on the same street). An attractive old victorian house and garden (a little over decorated from my tastes, but they have been awarded a lot of hospitality awards.) All rooms have their own private bath, but some of the bathrooms are outside the rooms. Check out their site: http://www.haddiepierce.com

Wickford Junction Inn. Jackie, the owner, is really really sweet and very accommodating. This place has a outdoor hot tub. Its a large house and I would suggest the "crows nest" room (update-this room has actually been reserved). Jackie and her husband are both photographers so there are LOTS of pictures on the walls. Very nice landscaping with a gazebo and waterfall. Its about a 5 minute drive from the reception - not really a walk. Close to a commercial area. http://www.wickfordjctinn.com - the links are on the top left.

Hamilton Village Inn. Carl wanted to spend our wedding night here - that's how nice he thought this place was. We won't be staying here but I do recommend it! We have reserved several rooms under the McLaughlin/Mitsch wedding for Friday & Saturday night. Reserved block will be released on September 14th. We reserved 1 apartment and 1 efficiency (both with kitchenettes), some rooms with a queen bed and several double queen rooms. Double queen rooms are new rooms that have a balcony. This place is 2 blocks from the reception - easy to stumble back to. http://welcome.to/HVI

You can also do an internet search for other B&Bs in the area including Jamestown, Newport (which has a lot of nice places to stay and is a 15 minute drive to reception, 10 minutes to the ceremony), and Narragansett. Please let us know if we can help you in your search. The above mention are just the closest to the reception, but you are by no means limited to those.

Places in Providence

Providence is about a 35 minute drive from Wickford. Below are a few links of nice hotels that are in downtown Providence if you are coming a few days before the wedding and would like to check out the city or if you don't mind the drive. Providence has a lot going on downtown -its becoming a very fun city.
